Ok, so here is experiment 1! I have many more already attempted, but you get this one first! My initial idea for a body wrap started a couple days ago. I am looking into all sorts of detox ideas. I have done everything from herbal detox, juice detox, bath detox... you get the idea. So on to this.
Ingredients
I bought green clay at Roseaurs Grocery in Bozeman. One cup cost me $4.09. I already had the sea salt, oil, and tea tree oil. So the total cost is probably around $8.00. I am also using saran wrap versus a sheet. I want the full effect!
Ok, so the mixture is all made up. (Don't add the full 2 cups of water, it is very runny)
RESULTS:
So, I was only able to keep the clay on for roughly 20-25 minutes (had to pick up Ally). However, in that 20 minutes alone, I can see where my skin tightened. Also, my skin is extremely soft and healthy looking!
I give this DIY a b+. However, I am going to retry this again in two days. I recommend using a sheet instead of saran wrap. I felt the saran wrap was twice as hard doing it alone :) so unless you have a partner, wrap up in a sheet!
Until next time DIYers! Cheers
